The Lord’s Table
We regularly observe Holy Communion, also known as The Lord’s Table, as a sacred time of worship, reflection, and thanksgiving. It is not just a ceremony — it is a heartfelt encounter with Jesus Christ, where we remember His ultimate sacrifice on the cross and rejoice in the victory of His resurrection.
At Vineyard Pentecostal Church, Communion is a time of unity and grace. We gather as one body, acknowledging that we are redeemed by the blood of Christ and called to walk in love, forgiveness, and holiness. As we partake of the bread and the cup, we proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes again, as commanded in 1 Corinthians 11:23–26.
Holy Communion is observed with reverence and joy:
The Bread symbolizes the body of Christ, broken for our healing and wholeness.
The Cup represents His blood, shed for the forgiveness of sins and the new covenant of grace.
Our Response is one of gratitude, repentance, and renewed commitment to live for Him daily.
All baptized believers who are walking in fellowship with Christ are welcome to participate. If you are new in faith or still exploring, you are encouraged to use this time for quiet reflection and prayer, seeking the Lord’s guidance and love.
Communion services are held regularly during our worship gatherings and on special occasions such as Good Friday, Resurrection Sunday, and church anniversaries. Each observance is a powerful reminder of God’s enduring love and the unity we share as His people.
